The Artist Process serves as a gateway to the professional world of contemporary dance in Atlanta.
ImmerseATL Artists are immersed in a rigorous program designed to reveal the nature and discipline of ongoing movement research. Through development of material and its subsequent presentation throughout metro Atlanta, Artists will be challenged to become present and spontaneous, navigate shifting environments, and commit themselves to constant research and discovery.
Program includes the following:
Classes with ImmerseATL faculty members Sarah Hillmer, Sean Nguyen-Hilton & George Staib
Performance opportunities alongside professional companies
One ImmerseATL produced showcase
Individually-tailored mentorship programs
Professional internships
*Past mentorships and professional internships include Staibdance and Fly on a Wall.
