The Artist Process serves as a gateway to the professional world of contemporary dance in Atlanta.

ImmerseATL Artists are immersed in a rigorous program designed to reveal the nature and discipline of ongoing movement research. Through development of material and its subsequent presentation throughout metro Atlanta, Artists will be challenged to become present and spontaneous, navigate shifting environments, and commit themselves to constant research and discovery.

Program includes the following:

  • Classes with ImmerseATL educators Sarah Hillmer, Sean Nguyen-Hilton & George Staib

  • Performance opportunities alongside professional companies

  • Two ImmerseATL produced shows

  • Individually-tailored mentorship programs

  • Professional internships

*Past mentorships and professional internships include Staibdance and Fly on a Wall.
